We believe your privacy is important, and we've designed Brightness Control with that in mind.

WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT

We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Period.

• No analytics or tracking
• No user accounts or profiles
• No location data
• No device identifiers
• No usage statistics
• No personal information whatsoever

WHAT THE APP DOES

Brightness Control runs entirely on your device. It uses:

• iOS Shortcuts to control brightness, Dark Mode, and Night Shift
• Local storage (UserDefaults) to save your preferences (brightness presets, button configurations, etc.)
• Widget functionality to display controls on your home screen

All your settings stay on your device. We don't have access to them, and we don't want access to them.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We don't use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The app doesn't connect to any external servers except when you explicitly choose to download shortcuts from jerome.gangneux.net.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL

We sell the app. We don't sell your data because we don't collect it. It's that simple.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we ever change this policy (which is unlikely since we don't collect data), we'll update this document. But honestly, if we're not collecting anything now, there's not much to change.

In short: Your data stays on your device. We don't see it, we don't want it, and we don't need it. Enjoy the app!
